STEPHEN G. LOOSLI

Executive Director

Stephen Loosli has a passion for medical and health research, especially as it impacts rural communities, both in the United States and worldwide.

He holds a master’s degree from SOAS University of London in Managing Rural Development, where a sizable component of his training was in rural health deficits and the devastating moral, social, and economic impacts of illness and disease. His strongest skill is in problem solving - he firmly believes that smart, capable people can always find a solution. He particularly excels at managing people, explaining complex topics in easy-to-understand ways, and in managing resources, especially human and capital.

Over the past three years, he has managed clinical research organizations, and is currently the executive director of Boeson Research a privately owned, multi-specialty clinical research company. Boeson conducts Phase II-IV clinical and observational trials for drugs, devices, and procedural amendments in Missoula, Montana.

Presently, he serves as the interim executive director of the Rocky Mountain Perinatal Institute, which aims to significantly improve the health outcomes in non-urban perinatal care.
